To give you an idea of the kind of projects we have worked on, you’ll find a number of case studies below, each relating to one or more of our specialities.
One of our most inspirational projects for KLM has been the translation of their Destination Guide. A guide in which KLM informs travellers of the highlights of their destinations and that needed to be rendered creatively into 10 languages. This was a project that was both fun and extensive – extensive because of the number of parties involved, the changing file formats, the character count limitations and SEO instructions; fun because we now know exactly which destinations are on the top of our own list!
In the beautiful Dutch town of Reeuwijk, we find Vergeer Holland, a family business that has been maturing, slicing and packaging cheese since 1934. Operating in no less than 30 countries, new translations were needed with the launch of their new website. We took care of the German, French, Spanish, English and Chinese versions, a mouth-watering activity with the added pleasure of all the delicious varieties of cheese passing by.
Since 2005 we have worked with KONE on KONE Move, the company’s internal communications magazine. It appears four times a year, featuring a variety of project stories, employee profiles and semi-technical articles. Due to character count limitations, this is exactly the kind of project that requires a knowledgeable, transcreative approach to translation. Since recently, we started processing our translations directly in their InDesign source file, reducing the production lead-time with quite a number of days.
Besides KONE Move we also work on the translation of brochures, newsletters, presentations and training materials for KONE.
What started as small and urgent requests from Holland Casino’s local establishments soon became a request from the headquarters to translate the entire website into English and German. We provide Holland Casino with translation services and terminology management for a variety of languages that besides English and German also include French, Simplified Chinese and Russian. In these languages we assist Holland Casino with their corporate communications such as annual reports, agreements and legal contracts as well as with their commercial communications in the form of flyers, brochures, menus and advertisements.

Haagse Hogeschool (The Hague University of Applied Sciences)
The Hague University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as research paths and part-time courses. Internationalisation is a prominent feature of The Hague University of Applied Sciences, recently resulting in a strict protocol on making all communication and study materials available in both Dutch and English. Attached is pleased to be able to make this happen, translating and proofreading texts ranging from workbooks, exams and course outlines to internal news articles and signposting.
Late Rembrandt exhibition
The temporary Late Rembrandt exhibition attracted over 520,000 visitors, making it by far the most popular event hosted by the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam to this date. Committed to making art accessible to everyone, the main sponsor of the event (KPN) developed an interactive digital Gallery of Honour in order to make this once-in-a-lifetime exhibition permanently accessible to anyone in the world – which is where we came in. Attached provided all the English translations, ranging from descriptions accompanying the Dutch master’s paintings and background information about the exhibition to news articles related to the event and instructions on how to make your very own #etsie (an etched, Rembrandtesque selfie).
Attached provides market research companies such as TNS Nipo, InSites, BVA, and Harris Interactive with language services. This enables them to collect the best and efficient culture-proof data on a global or local scale, and in turn helps their customers to create new business opportunities at home or abroad.
